David attended classed at Missouri Southern State College (now University) and
graduated from Ozark Christian College with Bachelor degree and a double major (one of which was in psychology), graduating in 1992. He eventually went back to school to get his masters, graduating in 2006 from Johnson University with a Masters of the Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy/Professional Counseling. Since then he has worked with youth and adults in a variety of setting. He worked in a student counseling center and in a residential treatment center for youth and another residential treatment center for adults and has been a crisis counselor for both adults as well children and youth at different times, as well as working in a private practice setting. He has been licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in TN since 2009 and in KY since 2018. David likes to take his personality, life experience, education, training and faith and help individuals, couples and families work though their issues and grow to become more than they thought they could be. He works with people with depression, anxiety, trauma, co-occurring disorders as well as a host of other issues including helping individuals and couples that have trouble communicating and connecting. David has been blessed to work with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and histories. He enjoys family time, reading, going to yard sales, traveling (when he can) as well as watching sports, indulging his "nerdy side" and doing random creative things. He works part of the week in the Glasgow office and part of the week in the Bowling Green office.
