Laurie Cape, LPCC
I believe it takes commitment, strength and courage to engage in a process of personal growth, and your desire to feel better and to become a better person is a beautiful intention. I honor you in this work! My name is Laurie Cape, and I help people who are interested in beginning their journey of personal growth as well as those who have been on the journey for a while. I believe that this work needs a holistic approach, so I use a variety of tools like mindfulness, somatic work, movement, emotions-focused experiential approaches, integrative energy work, empty-chair, inner child, and other gestalt approaches, IFS (Internal Family Systems) creative expression, art therapy, sandtray and play therapy with clients of all ages, along with cognitive behavioral methods and dbt skills to help my clients gain a healthy balance of control over their mind and actions in tandem with their spiritual development and healing. In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with my kids and puppy, going to concerts and listening to music, hiking, cycling and yoga.
