Leigh Ann Mathis, LPP
Leigh Ann graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology in 2008. She is a Licensed Psychological Practitioner with 13 years of professional experience in mental health and 15 years in domestic violence-related work. Leigh Ann offers individual and couples therapy to help clients address a wide variety of life problems, emotional difficulties and behavioral concerns. She has specialized training and experience in working with individuals in crisis and emotional distress, PTSD (Post-traumatic Stress Disorder), anxiety, depression, mood instability, and relationship problems. She is EMDR-trained (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and is a Certified Batterer Intervention/Domestic Violence counselor. She services clients on an individual basis, as well in group settings, and often works closely with The Cabinet for Health and Family Services and the judicial system. Leigh Ann has been with Alliance Counseling Associates since 2016. In her free time, Leigh Ann enjoys spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren and traveling and cooking.
