April Basham, LCSW
April is a licensed clinical social worker who sees teens, adults and families. She graduated from WKU with a Bachelors in Social Work in 2006 and then a Master's in Social Work in 2013. She has been a practicing mental health clinician for the past six years, but has been working in the humanitarian field for 15 years. April's clinical focus is on anxiety and depression with a specialized focus on Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and Reactive Attachment Disorder. April provides counseling services in person in Glasgow as well as Telehealth Counseling all over the state of Kentucky. April founded and runs The Social Work Toolbox on Facebook which is filled with community resources, events and supports and has been with Alliance Counseling since 2018. In her spare time, April loves to spend time with family, pets and friends. She loves to create art, to take long naps and swimming.
